Fruit Salad with Vanilla Dressing




1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and diced
1 cup seedless grapes, halved
1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
10 to 12 medium size strawberries, halved
1 mango, peeled and diced
1 banana, sliced
1/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

In a small mixing bowl whisk together the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, vanilla extract and salt!. Season with pepper, to taste!. Set aside!.
Place all of the fruit and the nuts into a large mixing bowl and toss to combine!. Add the dressing, toss and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 cup of mandarin oranges segments
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
3 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 cups shredded coconut
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1 cup maraschino cherries


DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, combine the oranges, pineapple, whipped topping, coconut, marshmallows and milk!.
Mix together well and chill 1 hour before serving!. Garnish with cherries

Fluffy Pink Fruit Salad
INGREDIENTS
1 (10 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
1 (15!.25 ounce) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained and diced
6 medium firm bananas, sliced
3 cups pastel miniature marshmallows
DIRECTIONS
Drain cherries, reserving 1/3 cup juice (save remaining juice for another use)!. Cut cherries in half; set aside!. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and reserved cherry juice until smooth!. Fold in whipped cream!. Fold in cherries, pineapple, fruit cocktail, peaches, bananas and marshmallows!. Transfer to a serving bowl!. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour!.

3 cups black grapes or green grapes
3 cups muskmelons, scooped out in the shape of little balls
3 cups watermelon, scooped out in the shape of little balls
3/4 cup condensed milk
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup toasted unsalted almonds, coarsely chopped
mint leaves, for garnishing (optional)

Put grapes, musk melon and water melon in a large salad bowl!.
Mix sweetened condensed milk, plain milk and cinnamon powder thoroughly!.
Pour this over the fruit and toss gently!.
Fold in toasted almonds and mix gently!.
Garnish with mint leaves and refrigerate for atleast 1/2 hour before serving!.

My favorite fruit salad these days is to put cuts of melon and pineapple and strawberries on a skewer, then put them on the bbq or in the oven for a couple of minutes, then spritz them with the raspberry balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing spritzer!.

What you need
Ripe Bananas, sliced
Seedless grapes, sliced in half or kept whole
Canned Peaches (cut them in half if they are sliced)
Strawberries, cut in half
Blueberries
Honey
A Teaspoon of sugar

Drain almost all the juice out of your peaches!.!.!.leave about 1/4 of a cup left
Place this in a sauce pan with a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of sugar and a dash of cinninamin!.

Cook over a low heat and bring to a slight simmer!. Let rest!. Place all items in a large bowl, cutting them up and mix them together!. Once cool or slightly warm, pour mixture from sauce pan over fruit while stiring fruit!. Cover and place in frigde, or eat right then and there!. When I make this people love it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make a fresh fruit salad and use different fruits!. The most common ones I use are:

fresh pineapple, strawberries, oranges, apples, grapes and I add bananas at the end with just a little lemon juice to keep the bananas from browning!. I do not add anything else!. I just mix and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
