What to do with cabbage?!
I made a meal the other day with cabbage, but I still have a decent amount left!. Does anyone know any good recipes or even just an idea of what I could do with the rest of this!? Thanks in advance!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to chop it like you do for coleslaw and squirt lime on it and then stab the lime in with a fork (like you are going for a crunchy bite of salad over and over) I sprinkle a little salt on and do some more!. Then, I use it as a topping for fish!.
Or, cabbage salsa!.!.!.
Cabbage, thin sliced
julienned carrots
chopped scallions
chopped tomatoes
chopped jalepenos or other hot pepper
salt
pepper
cilantro
juice of one mexican or key lime
1/2 cup V8 or other tomato juice
add more salt, pepper, etc!. to taste
serve with chips or as a side to black beans and riceWww@FoodAQ@Com

I love smothered cabbage, and it's as easy a side as you can get!.
Just get some ham from your grocery store and chop it up, you can even used sliced ham and break it into pieces!. Throw that and the left over cabbage into a pot on the stove!. Keep it over medium heat until it gets tender enough for your liking and that's about it!. The salt from the ham will take care of the flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
