Sweet Potato Mash...?!


Question: Sweet Potato Mash!.!.!.!?
Can anyone tell me a simple yummy way to make sweet potato mash, no copy and past websites pls, I honestly could do that myself, and I have a few already :P

Just wondered if anyone could suggest anything they do, because I've only tried once, but it didnt work out too well, and the cinnammon was a little strong!.Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
Peel 3 medium size sweet potatoes!. Cut into large dice!. Put in a sauce pan with enough water to barely cover with a tsp!. of vanilla extract!. Boil until a fork pierces easily!. Don't under cook!. Drain!. Add 2 Tablespoons of butter and mash with a potato masher or electric mixer!. Add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, and salt to taste!. Mix!.
I like it just like this but if you want a sweeter mixture add about 1/4 cup brown sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

4 large sweet potatoes, peeled &,cubed (2 pounds)
1/4 cup cream
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, crushed
salt (Kosher or rock)

Directions
In a large pan boil sweet potatoes until tender, drain!. In the same pan add butter and saute garlic until lightly browned!. Return potatoes to pan with brown sugar and cream and mash until smooth and creamy!. Add salt if you want and serve immediately!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom always made these sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving!.

3-4 lbs!. sweet potatoes, peeled and quartered

Cook for about 15 minutes until tender (similar to how you would cook potatoes for mashed potatoes)!.

Mash the sweets and put in a mixing bowl!. Add 2 tbsp!. butter, 3 tbsp!. brown sugar, about 1/2 crushed pineapple & juice, salt to taste!. Whip the sweets until nice and smooth!. You don't want them runny!. Place in a baking dish!. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes!. Now cover the top of the sweets with miniature marshmallows!. Put back in oven until the marshmallows are slight browned and melted!. Serve immediately!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

MASHED SWEET POTATOES

1/4 c!. butter
1/2 c!. milk
1 tsp!. cinnamon
1/2 tsp!. salt
6 med!. size sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed (or 1 can sweet potatoes 1 lb!. 13 oz!.)
2 c!. miniature marshmallows

Add butter, milk, cinnamon and salt to mashed sweet potatoes!. Beat until smooth, light and fluffy!. Spoon into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole!. Cover with marshmallows!. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes!.

Easy and delicious sweet potatoes, mashed with maple syrup, butter, and a little cinnamon and cream!.
INGREDIENTS:
3 to 4 medium sweet potatoes, about 2 pounds
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
cinnamon, to taste
3 to 4 tablespoons half-and-half
PREPARATION:
Cook sweet potatoes in boiling water until tender!. Let cool slightly; peel!. Mash with salt, butter, and maple syrup!. Add cinnamon to taste then continue to mash with the half-and-half to desired consistency!.

Ingredients:
2 cans sweet potatoes
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup toasted chopped pecans


Directions:

In large saucepan, heat potatoes until warmed through!. Remove potatoes from heat!. Using an electric hand mixer, beat potatoes until light and fluffy!. Stir in maple syrup, butter, orange juice, and salt!. Transfer to a serving dish!. Sprinkle with toasted pecans

3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
2 eggs beaten
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter or margarine, melted

Combine all ingredients and bake in buttered dish at 400 degrees for 20 minutes!.

Topping
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup melted margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix topping ingredients and spread on top!. Bake an additional 15 minutes

Mashed Sweet Potaoes!.

1 3/4 to 2 pounds sweet potatoes
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup bourbon whiskey
3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons molasses
1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350° F!.

Place the potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet!.

Bake until tender and starting to ooze sugary syrup, about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending upon their size!. Remove from the oven and let sit until cool enough to handle!.

Cut a slit down each potato and scoop the flesh into a large bowl!. Discard the skins!. Add the cream, bourbon, brown sugar, molasses, and salt and beat on high speed with an electric mixer until smooth!.

Cover to keep warm, or gently reheat before serving!.
