For deviled egg fans...?!

Question: For deviled egg fans!.!.!.!?
I saw a deviled eggs recipe in Family Circle that sounds really good (I won't put it on here cause it may be copyright infringement or something), but it sounds a little untraditional!. It includes the basics like mayo, vinegar, cream cheese, but also uses 4 tsp!. chopped fresh dill!. Sounds like it may be good, but I've never heard of putting dill in deviled eggs!. Do you think the dill taste would overpower the eggs!? I want to give the dish a little kick, but I don't know about dill!. How do you make your deviled eggs!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like the simple traditional deviled eggs with mayo, sweet pickle relish and salt and pepper to taste!.!.!.sprinkled with paprika in the end!.

I like dill but mainly on fish and potato salad, not deviled eggs!. But hen I have never tried it so I might like it if I did!. Cream cheese, not thanks, not in deviled eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not sure about dill!. However everything is to-taste!. When in doubt, decrease the quantity!. The kick!? sounds like the kick is the vinegar (I would say apple cider vinegar!.!.!.!.never the store brand as they are watered down)!. Again, vinegar to taste (not too much in the case of deviled eggs though or you'll lose the correct consistency)!. Trial and error will achieve your own desired taste!. I always cook to the way I like it!. Everyone else can adapt!. lol

p!.s!. some people use mustard in their deviled eggs for that kick you are talking about!. Does it go with vinegar!? U got me!. Try typing in your search engine for Deviled Egg Recipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For texture, I dice up one of the egg whites and add it to the creamed yolks!. Don't add any mayo until you've creamed the yolks, could be too soupy!. I prefer sweet relish over dill, then salt, pepper, and dash of paprika on top for color!. Stick 1/2 olive (pimento side up) in center of half of the eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Never put cream cheese in mine before!.!. sour cream though!. And no, I would not like dill in my eggs!. My family always enjoyed either sweet pickle relish or green tomato relish!. Guess it depends on what area you are from and what you have been raised with!.!. tastewise!. I used to also sprinkle a bit of cayenne or paprika on top of mine!.!. and top with a sliced green olive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've never made them but I think all my mom and grandma ever did was mix some mayo in with the hardboiled yolk, maybe added some mustard!.!.!.but I don't know what else!. I know that they used to sprinkle paprika on the top too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've had them with dill before, not too bad!. If you're worried about the flavor being over the top, add just a little at a time to the filling mix until it's the flavor you desire!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
