Absolutely not!. The plastic would melt in the oven!.

How about microwave, that would be different:

MICROWAVE CORNBREAD

2/3 c!. all-purpose or unbleached flour
2/3 c!. cornmeal
1 tsp!. baking powder
1/2 tsp!. baking soda
1/4 tsp!. salt
3 tbsp!. butter
1/2 c!. buttermilk
2 tbsp!. honey
1 egg

TOPPING:

1 tbsp!. cornmeal
2 tsp!. sugar

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off!. In medium bowl, combine flour, 2/3 cup cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; blend well!. Set aside!. In small microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter on high for 15 to 30 seconds or until melted!. Stir in buttermilk, honey, and egg until well blended!. Add to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened!. Pour into ungreased 8 or 9 inch round microwave-safe dish!. In small bowl, combine topping ingredients; blend well!. Sprinkle over batter!. Microwave on medium for 5 minutes, rotating dish once halfway through baking!. Microwave on high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until cornbread pulls away from sides of dish, rotating dish once halfway through baking!. Let stand 5 minutes on flat surface!. Cut into wedges!. 6 to 8 servings!.
Tips: To substitute for buttermilk, use 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar or lemon juice plus milk to make 1/2 cup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make corn muffins if you have a cupcake tin or even mini muffins if you have a mini pan!. My sons LOVE mini corn muffins!. Be sure to either grease the pans well or use cupcake liners!. DON'T use an ice-cube tray!. It is not designed to be used in an oven and if it's plastic, it will melt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no no no, a plastic tray what are you thinking, just make a big one in a oven safe frying pan or the likes and just cut it up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Plastic!? You're kidding!. Right!?

Use a metal or glass brownie or loaf pan!. Don't have them!? Try a cake pan!. You'll be much happier with the outcome!. Not to mention the (ugh) smell!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No plastic will melt!. They sell muffin tins that are super tiny so they come out looking like miniature muffins for a tea party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you aren't old enough to know that plastic melts you shouldn't be baking anything yet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No--don't use plastic!. If you can find silicone ice cube trays that would work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No not in plastic you can't!. Why don't ya just bake it or make creamy cornbread casserole!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

only if you have silicone ice trays!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the ice cube tray is meant for the freezer, not the oven!. it will melt thereWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think it would melt!. Try using a muffin pan! That works great!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Plastic will melt in the oven!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
