What do I do with over dried sun dried tomatoes?!

Question: What do I do with over dried sun dried tomatoes!?
Answers:
Soak them in good olive oil for a week or so and they'll come back to life!. You could also mince one and add it to a salad, hamburger meat or to a cold pasta salad!.
Once they soften up you may want to put a hand full into a blender and make a paste!.!.!.!. you can spead it on bruschette or even on your garlic bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sundried tomatoes offer a sweet and somewhat tomatoey flavor but not much else!. soaking them in warm water for 30 minutes or marinating in olive oil will soften them!. I like to use them to make pesto with, parmasan, walnuts, parley and olive oil!. plus a little garlic!. this makes a nice zesty pesto that goes well with mushrooms or on a sandwich!. also making a pasta with SD tomatoes with a little carmalized red onion, peppadew peppers, pinenut, and marsala butter sauce makes a really nice sweet and sour dish that is wonderful!. I typically only use sundried tomatoes during the winter when good fresh tomatoes are impossible to find!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Feed them to the hogs and start anew!. Or try this: Soak the tomatoes in warm water for about an hour!. Depending on how dry they are, they could be salvaged in this manner!. Not very likely though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
