Believe it or not, research has shown that it retrains its nutrients best is microwaved!. That's because the longer it cooks, the more nutrients it loses, and the microwave is the fastest way to cook it!. Put it in a glass or microwavable plastic bown with a few tablespoons of water, cover the bowl with microwavable plastic wrap, leaving an edge loose to let a little steam out, and nuke it!. The timing will depend on how much broccoli is there, so you might have to nuke it for several short periods until you get it right, but it is essentially steaming and nuking at the same time!.
