Question: I'm making pulled pork for a Hawaiian party!. Is it a good idea to include pineapple chunks while cooking!?
Answers:
Yes!!!!!, sit it on a bed of it!. I always lay out pineapple rings, and give it regular basting's with the juice or syrup from the can!.
The pineapple and liquid will caramelize and make a wonderful syrupy sauce!.

I love it done that way!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Good Luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not if you are serving it to a Hawaiian!. Don't put pineapple chunks in while you are cooking the pork, it will not come out right!. If you must, serve the pork with pineapple spears on the side, or grilled pineapple for dessert!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Traditional luau pork/kalua pork is just Hawaiian salt (and a little liquid smoke if your not cooking in an imu)!.

It just depends upon how traditional you want to keep your party!.

If you want to add flavor, go for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it sounds great!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
