Ideas for using frozen strawberries?!


Question: Ideas for using frozen strawberries!?
I have three gallon size bags of frozen strawberries and I don't know what to do with them!. I would make margaritas, but I like 'plain' ones on the rocks!. You can only make so many smoothies and shakes before getting sick of them (which is where I'm at now)!. Suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could thaw some and use them in parfaits
You could make strawberry daiquiris!.!.mmmmm
You could put them over icecream
You could put some into plain yogurt
you could also try putting them into strawberry jello
You could put them over angel food cake and add some whip cream
you could put them over waffles again with some whipcream, or icecream
You could make strawberry pancakes
You could also make Strawberry lemonade which is delcious (just make a batch of lemonade and then run it through a blender with strawberiies!.!.!.its sooo yummy!)

Strawberry Delight

1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 large pkg!. vanilla instant pudding
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 large container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 Tbsp!. chocolate syrup
2 Tbsp!. chopped nuts

1!. Prepare pudding according to package directions; set aside!.
2!. Crush vanilla wafers in a blender or place in a plastic bag using a rolling pin!.
3!. Fill the bottom of a large bowl with half of the cookie crumbs!.
4!. Cover crumbs with half of prepared pudding!.
5!. Distribute half of the strawberry slices over pudding!.
6!. Spread half of the whipped topping over strawberries!.
7!. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients!.
8!. Drizzle chocolate syrup over top of last layer of whipped topping!.
9!. Sprinkle with chopped nuts!.


Or you could make strawberry Freeze Jam to use as a topping for ice cream, pancakes, french toast, plain toast, bagels with cream cheese, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I mashed them, added sugar & a dash of lemon juice and boiled them down to a thick goop!. I poured it into a sterile jar and stored it in the freezer - now I have a strawberry sherbet/puree!. I soak cubes of stale pound cake in it and top it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!. Save a few whole frozen berries for garnish!. Strawberry pie (mix berries with sugar & a little lemon juice & put into prebaked pie crust)

Strawberry shortcake (mix sliced berries with a little sugar, serve over pound cake with whipped cream)
