Nigel Slater and Gary Rhodes?!
Are they both bummers!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Nah, not really!.!.!.though it could appear so to some!. On the bummer side, Nigel did go on about his past a bit in 'Toast' but, well, it was about his past and quite funny!.!.!.but I don't really enjoy autobiographies so I may be biased!. Apart from that, he writes well in his weekly column, the recipes are good and interesting and he also promotes down-to-earth tastes and honest food principles!. Gary gets on my nerves with the hair and excitable manner but he has done a lot to promote good quality British dishes and ingredients - and his dessert books in particular have some nice recipes!.
So, to finally answer your question!.!.!.neither are particularly a bummer but, if pushed, I'd have to choose Gary as one!.
PS I am presuming that you mean "Are they both people who are a bit up their own arses!?" rather than "Are they both people who are up other peoples' arses!?"
If you meant the second option, then I'd have to say 'no' in Nigel's case and '!?' in Gary's!. If they're both gay, then I think Gary would be the 'b*it*ch'!.!.!.and have to do the washing up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
