That is a good recipe!. Don't drain the green beans, and maybe add some salt & pepper!. That's it - simple, easy, & tasty!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would definitly drain the beans!. I then add a tablespoon of dales seasoning or a beef boullian cube to 2 cups of water!. This elimintes all of that fat and adds a ton of flavor! Add that to the green beans and simmer for 45 minutes!. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a serving dish when ready to serve!. If you have the option to buy "Italian cut" green beans (not to be confused with french cut), they are the best!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drain everything that comes in a can!. Add back enough water to cover, salt, pepper, and onion!. Instead of just bacon grease I'd crumble a piece of crispy bacon per can into the pot!. Your beans are already cooked so you really don't need to grease, just the bacon flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love this simple recipe! I would suggest tossing in a chicken boullion cube in as well, a tsp of butter too and simmer for at least 30 minutes!. Add salt & pepper to taste!. I think 2 cans for 4 people is enough but I don't know what else you are making!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
