2 to 1 : 2 cups water to 1 cup white rice, salt, 1 Tbsp!. oil!.!.!.bring to a boil, then simmer about 20 mins!. Add more water for fluffier rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You usually want the water to be a little bit above the rice in the pot!. I use my pinkie and measure from the tip to the top knuckle to determine how high the water level needs to be!. But it really just depends on how you like your rice (hardish or softish)!. Obviously, for harder rice you'd use more rice and less water!. For softer rice, do the opposite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Add your quantity to a lot of boiling water, return to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes!.
Check the texture and drain well!.
Return to pot and fluff up with a fork!.
Perfect every time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
