A recipe calles for white wine vinegar, but I only have apple cider vinegar, could I just use that instead?!
Answers:
I wouldn't recommend it! They both taste very different and the white wine has a very rich flavor too it that is irreplaceable!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Actually, that depends on what you are going to be using it in!. Marinade!? Canning!? That would be fine!.
But in something where you actually are going to be able to taste the vinegar, like salad dressing, then I would not!. The recipe calls for a specific vinegar, so I would lace up my shoes and head to the store!.

Take the word VINEGAR off and that's the flavor you'll have in your food!.
So if you don't mind your stuff coming out tasting like apple CIDER instead of white WINE!.!.!.!.
All vinegars are not created equal!. If they were, the recipe would've just said "vinegar, any type!."Www@FoodAQ@Com
