What vegetables can I add to chili?!


Question: What vegetables can I add to chili!?
So far I have corn, bell pepper, carrots, onion, garlic, and tomatoes(obviously)!.

jalapenos or other chilis and onions !.!.!.!.!. You can add some cans of chili or pinto beans (drained), if you want too!. Carrots are not normally found in chili, but GRATED carrots will act as a natural sweetener (and thickener), so they're actually excellent in chili & spaghetti sauce:) !.!.!.!.!.!. don't forget fresh chopped cilantro to add later!Www@FoodAQ@Com

All of them would be good to add!. Your making me want to make some chili!. Yummy, sounds good!. Some homemade cornbread would be good with that!. 2c!. cornmeal, 1/4c!. flour, dash of salt, 1 egg and milk!. If you want sweet cornmeal you can add 1/2c!. sugar!. I don't measure my milk, I just add it until I think it's right!. Bake at 375 until brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Red Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, Beans!.

You could even try Celery if you wanted, just play around with it, who knows you could come up with sometime totally unexpected and delicious!

For Vegetarian chilli we add:

Mushrooms, Red and White Kidney Beans, Tomatoes, Celery, Bell Pepper, Onion and Corn!.

I like every idea you've got except carrots!. If you add carrots, I think you have to call it stew!. Same thing if you add parsnips or celery!.
