Many fruits work well for frozen yogurt treats!. Either mash or puree fruit with a little honey or pure maple syrup!. Add splash of water (or lemon juice for a tangy taste); then add plain yogurt: regular, lowfat, or nonfat!. Blend again!. You can add chopped walnuts or almonds, coconut flakes, carob powder, or natural flavorings for variation!. Pour mixture into freezable cups or scoop into popsicle containers!.

Very Berry Frozen Yogurt

2 cups low fat vanilla yogurt
1 bag frozen mixed berries, pureed and strained (12 oz), OR 2 cups pureed and
strained fresh berries
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sugar

Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, using a hand mixer on medium
speed!. Pour into freezer bowl of ice cream maker and turn the machine on!. Let

What I do is mix the yougart with frozen or fresh fruits, and mix in a bit of a binder, I find if you use a couple of teaspoons of instant vanilla pudding and a bit of milk mixed with the yougart and I freeze mine in ice cube trays, I buy several for this and other things like stock and herb pastes, I freeze the yougart mix and then buzz it in my Magic Bullet machine until smooth, this way you can mix a small amount for individual tastes and even make a plain base, and add your fruit per serving, like Yogen-Fruz does!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
