Pastry recipe using oil?!


Question: Pastry recipe using oil!?
Yesterday in an answer someone gave a recipe for a light crust pastry using oil!. Are you that person!? or does anyone have the recipe please!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make a pie or a pastry with oil, it is a bit less flakey than with butter or shortening, I am a former chef and it is made exactly like regular pastry only with the oil and as it is liquid you do not need as much water, and some will add an egg, it is used mainly for raised pies or pates as it is a studier dough!.

I would not recommend it for pies like apple or cherry, but in a pinch it will work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
