Anyone have a recipe for choc sauce to put INSIDE a muffin?!
It's very hot now where I live and I can no longer put icing on top of my cakes, could I put this inside a muffin

Exactly what you said, a chocolate ganache!. Just boil cream, and pour it over twice the quantity of chocolate (ie choc:cream 2:1) then let it set and spoon a little into each serve of muffin batter before you put it in the oven!. Yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chocolate Ganache:
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 ounces finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
In a small saucepan heat cream to a simmer!. In a bowl pour simmering cream over chopped chocolate!. Add butter and stir until smooth!.
You put it in the muffins after they're baked, because if you put a ganache in before they're baked, it will get very runny and spread all over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make cupcakes with a cream cheese filling, with chocolate chips in it!.!.!.!. You could make a chocolate cream cheese filling, with chips!. Fill the muffin tins 1/2 way, put in a tsp of filling, and cover with more muffin batter - then bakeWww@FoodAQ@Com
