Here is a quick and easy main tofu dish that tastes great!. So good, even the meat lovers who've tried it, finish it off!.
1/4-1/2 cup Olive Oil
1 Block Extra Firm (organic) Tofu
Garlic
Spike
Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Spatula
Cover the bottom of your saute pan with a layer of olive oil and put the flame on low-medium!. While you're waiting for it to heat, you will cut the tofu!.!.!.
There are all kinds of creative ways to cut (or even mash!) the tofu but for this recipe, cut it into 1" squares!. (Cut length wise, then cut width wise, then cut right through the middle, horizontally!.) Don't worry about being perfect!. Just approximate!.
By this time your oil should be just right!. (If you want, you can test it by flicking a tiny bit of water into the pan!. If it sizzles a little, it's perfect!. If it sizzles a lot, turn down the heat until the oil cools down!.)
Place the tofu squares in the pan so that each piece touches the surface!.
Cover the tofu squares with garlic and pepper!. Add three or four shakes of cayenne!. Add three or four shakes of Spike!. Allow the tofu squares to brown!. (This should take about 10 minutes depending on how high your heat is!.) Once they've browned, turn them over with your spatula and brown the other side!. No need to add any more spice!.
If you'd like slightly more brown tofu, gently stir them around and allow them to cook a little longer!.
If you like bar-b-q flavor or teriyaki flavor, here's a great time to add a little bit of your favorite sauce and allow to cook for an additional minute or two!.
Voila! Spicy Tofu Squares!

Here's how to make a quick, delicious meal out of whatever's languishing in your fridge!.
Firm or Extra-Firm Tofu
Vegetables
Salt/pepper/spices
Spatula
Root through your fridge in search of vegetables!. Peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, tomatoes, and zucchini all taste great with tofu!.
Cook the firm vegetables -- broccoli, peppers, asparagus -- in your skillet!. Add a touch of oil and some water; the steam will evaporate, leaving your veggies cooked and reducing your fat calories!. Olive oil works best!.
Add the softer vegetables -- mushrooms, tomatoes, etc!. They take less time to cook!.
While the vegetables cook, drain your tofu!.
When the vegetables appear to be about five minutes from being ready to eat, add the tofu in your skillet and crumble it up with your spatula!.
Add spices to taste!. Use the scramble as a filler for tacos or burritos, as a side dish, or as a meal in itself!.
Garnish with hot sauce

Tofu Egg Salad
Silken tofu
Mayonnaise
Pickles
Celery
Salt
First, get some silken tofu!. These are the soft kinds!. You don't absolutely need these, but they're my personal favorite for this dish!. They will usually come in a blocked form in a plastic container!. Open teh container and put the tofu in a large bowl!. Wait a few minutes and you'll notice some liquids have come out of the tofu and have collected at the bottom of the bowl!. Pour out this liquid!. Do this one or two more times!. You'd like to get most of the liquid out!.
Mash up the tofu using forks, spoons, etc!. so that you have alot of "rubbly" pieces!. Don't use a blender as you will liquify the tofu!.
Chop a good sized whole pickle and a good sized stalk of celery into tiny pieces (or whatever size you personally prefer)!. Add these ingredients into the bowl!.
Add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to the bowl and start stirring all of the ingredients!.
Add some salt and any other seasonings (e!.g!., pepper) you like based on your taste!. Add as much or as little salt based on your preference!.
Now you don't need to feel guilty about eating this healthy dish!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

To try and acquire the taste of tofu a bit better, a great way to have it is by cutting into cubes (firm tofu), then marinading it with honey, soy sauce and if desired, garlic also!. Place aside and prepare some egg noodles by boiling them for a few mins!. Drain off noodles and place in a wok/fry pan with a bit of hot oil, then the tofu and some baby spinach, cauliflower, snow peas (whatever you want)!. Use the leftover marinade as a sauce, by pouring it into the pan bit by bit until there's a slight sticky honey sauce left!. Use this to pour over the dish on the plate!. Yuuum! Quick and tasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
