Sides for grilled pork tenderloin???!


Question: Sides for grilled pork tenderloin!?!?!?
I usually get stuck in the same rut of bakers & salad so tonight I want something different, yet still comfort food for sides to go with grilled pork tenderloin chops about 1 1/2 thick!.!.!.!.!.

I've got the makings for scalloped potatos, garlic mashed potatos or a pkg of premade stuffing from the meat case!. I also have a mushroom pasta dish, carrots, peas, corn, broccoli, baked beans and home fries ( frozen)!.!.!.

What will be something different, still yummy!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Potatoe Bake

Ingrediants:
1/4 tbs Pepper
1/4 tbs Garlic powder
1/2 tbs Salt
Potatoes
Oil

Directions: Mix dry ingrediants to create Paula Dean's "House Seasoning" (foodnetwork!.com)!.

Cut potatoes into chunks and put in a Ziplock bag!. Coat Potatoes lightly in oil (I like Olive Oil because it has less fat)!. Sprinkle in house seasoning to taste (you want a light coat)!. Shake and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes!. Yummy!



Bacon-Wrapped Port Medallions with Garlic-Mustard Butter:

Ingrediants:
Pork
Bacon
Toothpicks
Salt
Pepper
Pam Cooking Spray

You can also cut the pork into "medalions" and wrap them in bacon (hold together with a toothpick)!. Season with salt and pepper and then spray top and bottom with Pam cooking spary!. Then cook on the stove top on medium high in a load of butter for 6 minutes per side!.
Top the pork with Garlic Mustard Butter!.

Garlic Mustard Butter

1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced

blend ingrediants in a bowl and then put a dallop on the top of each pork "medallion"

I don't each much pork anymore due to health reason, but I know that apples go great with pork!. Waldorf Salad is sometimes considered as a winter dish, but it works all the time!. Here is a Simple Recipe!.

* 3 Granny Smith apples, cored
* 3 Red Delicious apples, cored
* 2 cups mayonnaise
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 3 Tbsp!. lemon juice
* 3 Tbsp!. orange juice
* 2 cups whipped cream
* 6 stalks celery, finely diced
* 1 cup golden raisins

my favorite:

1 lg!. can of sour sauerkraut
1 sm!. onion
1/2 stick margarine

rince sauerkraut; sqeeze excess water
melt margarine in lg!. fry pan
chop onion (sm!. pieces) & place in fry pan!. fry, med!. heat, until slightly tender, then put in sauerkraut!. after 10 min!., turn heat down to med!. low and cover!. stir every now & then!. add more margarine if needed!. this can be prepared the day before or the same day as needed, cook for at least 1 hr!. heats well in microwave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would grill the tenderloin and make a honey glaze for it, using some honey for the carrots, and warm up the baked beans and add a small amount of!.!.!.you guessed it honey!. They should all tie together well!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Apples!? If you have some, put butter in a pan, add onions if you have, and apples and cook until soft!. Pork, apples, and stuffing!. Yum!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Kabobs made with baby eggplants cut up, also, red pepper, mushrooms, and tomatoes are good!. Coat with olive oil after skewering, season, grill or bake!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.mmmm!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
