How to make peanut butter a bit more liquid...?!

Question: How to make peanut butter a bit more liquid!.!.!.!?
I sliced some bananas and dipped them into chocolate and thought it would be nice to drizzle some peanut butter onto it sort of like when you drizzle chocolate on items!.!.!.so i got a bag of peanut butter chips that were right next to the chocolate chips!.!.!.and yeah they were still too thick, unless i wanted to fling globs onto the bananas!.
I tried adding melted chocolate to it!.!.!.still wasn't helping enough!. It would have made the mixture chocolate dominant by the time i got the consistency i wanted!.
Is there something i can add to help loosen the mixture up or something else peanut buttery i can try!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi-
Are you familiar with ganache!? http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Ganache

Heat some heavy cream to boil and pour it over your peanut butter chips this will give you a nice consistency about the same as chocolate!. You should probably use a ratio of about 4:1 - chips:cream, or in other words 12oz!. Peanut butter Chips ( I think that's one bag) and 3 oz!. Heavy Cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just add a bit of half and half or evaporated milk to the melted pb chips!. Melt the chips in a double boiler rather than in the microwave, add the milk a bit at a time and stir it in!. When it's the right consistency, dip a wooden spoon into the mixture and drizzle it across the bananas!. Give the banans a couple minutes in the fridge to help it set up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try corn syrup- it won't take much!. If you want it to be solid when it cools, then warm coconut oil($$)

Warmed smooth PB and coconut oil is prob your best bet if you want to dip something into it and have it be solid afterward!. Coconut oil is what they make Magic Shell ice cream topping out of!.

May dip into warm PB and refreeze before dipping into choc!?!?

Sounds like a good recipe once you work out the details!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

to 1/2 cup peanut butter chips add 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 cup white corn syrup (Karo) Heat in Microwave til chips are melted!. Stir until all blended!.

alternate!?!? 1/2 cup peanut butter chips, 1/2 cup honey, 2 tablespoons melted butter!. Stir after melting chips!.

Can use real peanut butter also!! Same portions as above but also add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

melt it on the stove!
put a pot full of water on the burner, and put another pot full of the chips over the burner with the water in it
it would be like melting chocolate, only its peanut butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add some softened butter to the slightly cooled, melted chips and beat that up !.!.!.!.!.Add melted chocolate was just intensifying the problem:) You need some fat/shortening in there to keep it smooth and creamyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Add some peanut oil as suggested!. I do this all the time to make Thai peanut sauce thinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

try a little peanut oilWww@FoodAQ@Com

milk in the fondu potWww@FoodAQ@Com
