Here is something you can do that is pretty easy!.
This is how my Grandmother used to fix them, and she taught me!.
Once you have your Pork Chops defrosted, salt and pepper them then set them aside to let the salt work into the Chops!.
Then Scramble three eggs and set that aside!.
In a large mixing bowl place 2 Cups of Unsifted Flour, 2 Tsp!. Salt, 1 Tsp, Cayanne Pepper, 2 Tsp Garlic Powder, 2 Tsp Onion Powder
In a large Skillet, (Preferably Cast Iron) start by Frying some Bacon, (about 8 pieces)!. (Yes this is a Heart Attack Special so don't do this often)!. But it is sure tasty!
After you have fried the bacon crisp, crush the bacon an add it to your flour mixture, then mix it well!. Be sure to pull the skillet off the heat for a moment or two, while you get the chops ready!.
OK, here we go!.
Take your chops and dip them into the scrambled egg, then into your bacon and flour mixture completely covering the chops!. Then return your skillet with the bacon grease to the heat and place the chops in the hot grease!. After you have the chops in the skillet, turn your heat down to MED, and let them brown on each side!. You need to let your stove do the work this time, and don't rush it or you will burn your chops, and the middle will not be properly cooked!.
Add to this meal some flavored rice, follow the instructions, (I recommend any of the Zatarains Products), and if you really want to go Cajun, you can add as a side dish, Collard Greens, (Chopped and boiled with Red Vinegar, Salt and Pepper), Mustard Greens, (same as above), Turnips, (peeled, chopped and boiled, then drained with butter, bacin bits and pepper), Rudibegas, (Same as above), Carrots, (peeled, chopped, boiled, drained, butter, salt and pepper)!.
And!.!.!. lastly for those in your family who are not diabetic, place some Cinnamon Applesauce heated and sweetened with brown sugar!. This can be done in the Microwave, and is used as a topping for your chops!. I normally place this on the table as a condement for those who want it, they can have it!.
Definately serve this meal with sweetened Iced Tea, (use Splenda), and your dad can at least enjoy that!. I normally brew the Tea on the stove and make it fairly strong, (Lipton's Will do the job), then in a plastic decanter, fill it about 3/4 full of ice and pour the tea directly ovet the ice!. Be sure that you check the sweetness as you add the Splenda so as not to over sweeten the tea!. Better to have it a little less sweet, rather than Humming Bird Water!. Ha Ha Ha :)
Anyhow good luck!. This is one of my families most favorite summer time meals!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i started cooking for the family when i was 11!.!.!.!.!.

best pork chops
i found that the Smithfield brand of pork chops are the very best!.
they don't take a long time to cook!.
if you cook them too long they will dry out and get tough!.
Here is a basic, yet delicious, recipe for pork chops!. The chops retain their tenderness and are extremely moist if you don't cook them too long!. A 1/2" chop should be cooked 5 minutes each side and a 3/4" chop about 8 minutes each side!. You can cut into the chop to check as you go along!. Serve with mashed potatoes and any green veggie
6 pork chops
2 Tb flour
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
3 Tb shortening or lard
1/2 cup apple cider or chicken broth
Lightly dredge the chops in the flour!. You may either add the salt and pepper to the flour, first (I do) or sprinkle on afterwards!. Heat the shortening in the skillet and brown the chops over medium heat, as recommended above!.
Remove the chops to a warm platter and drain the skillet for all but 2 tablespoons of the remaining liquid!. Add the apple cider or broth and cook down 1 minute!. Spoon over chops!.

The biggest thing about pork is not to overcook it!. That is what really dries pork out!. You can also make a salt water brine and soak them refrigerated for several hours!. This will not make them overly salty!. Use a kitchen thermometer and just cook them till done!. Overcooking really dries out porkWww@FoodAQ@Com
