Answers:
Not too many places make their own!. They usually buy from a wholesaler and they come in a box frozen!. For those places that make their own they usually add an egg and bread crumbs to a pound of ground beef!. The egg and breadcrumb actually keep the burger from falling apart!. When grilling the burger this is where the taste comes in!. If you a barbecuing them add some mesquite chips to the flame!. Take Worcestershire's sauce and shake onto the burger for additional flavour while grilling!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the secret is the grill!. you can achieve the same type of taste grilling your burgers outside on a gas or charcoal grill over high heat!.
most restaurants use either regular ground beef or ground chuck!. higher fat = more flavor!. make your patties 5 or 6 ounces raw, and flatten out to 1/4 inch thickness!. use salt and pepper to season!.
let cook on first side till juices begin to run, turn and cook till done, about 5 or 6 more minutes!.

don't add any milk, egg, or breadcrumbs or it won't taste like a burger!. a burger is just ground beef, nothing else!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They use frozen or commercial patties!. If you want to make a good burger use ground sirloin and mix it with some soy sauce, tabasco, salt, pepper, garlic and minced onion!. Add a beaten egg!. Then you have to pack the burgers into patties and you have to make them really firm or else they'll fall apart!. also make them really flat about the size of a roll of paper towel end because they're going to shrink when you cook them!. Then grill them 4 minutes on each side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

they usually come in frozen from a central meat packing plant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
