The rib-eye roast or tri-tip are probably the closest:)!.!.!.!. (NOT the rib roast, since you don't have bones in yours, and the bones do affect the cooking time) !.!.!.!.!.!.!.I do hope you marinated it for quite a while though, since it isn't that tender of a cut of meat!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yeah a bottom round roast is definitely not meant for these cooking means!. It is actually one of my least favorite cuts, I find it tough and tasteless!. A top round roast is better and still not that expensive!. If you want to use a bottom round, you could braise it, but the chuck roasts are much better for this purpose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i never grill these!. i always slow cook the roast on a top burner in a little bit of water to make odd juice for about 6-8 hours to make tender!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
its big like a rib roast so i say go with that - 2 hours
i never bbq'd that kinda meat though
i ALWAYS cook bottom round roast beef in the oven or in a stewed pot roast type of dishWww@FoodAQ@Com

Reason being, a bottom round is a tough cut of meat that needs to be braised, simmered in a liquid like a pot roast!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
