When I cook pizzas, I always put them on a tray, but I want to try baking one directly on the rack because I was told it will make the crust crispier!. My problem is how do I get it out of the oven!? I need help ASAP as I am about to put it in the oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You place the pizza on the rack and when it's finished, you slide your pizza pan just under the rack and use a spatula to slide it onto the pizza pan!. Place foil [or another pan on a lower rack to catch any drippings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

slide a pizza pan just slightly underneath the edge of pizza and then continue to slide it on the pan with a spatula!.!.!.be very careful and wear oven mitts if you need to!.!.!.yum i think i will go put a pizza in oven :)

i bake mine directly on the rack (of course it is a frozen pizza) all the time because i love a crispy crust!.!.!.and it comes off the rack w/o any problem!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would recommend using a cookie sheet!. If you put it directly on the rack, the pizza may spill between and make a mess of your oven!.
There should be instructions on how to make it more crispier!.!.but if you put in oven I will get crispy, not like it does in a microwave!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slide it onto a large plate or something big enough to hold it!. I do that all the time baking it onto the rack!. I bring the rack out of the oven a littlle bit, then get a large dish putting in front of the pie, and then slide it on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

use like a flat card bored piece put under it when retrieving the pizza thats what I usually do!. If you dont have card bored then try a spatula to pull it out some and get it on a cutting bored inching it out I have done that to!. Good luck!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I normally use a spatula and an oven glove!. It should slide right off!. Have a flat baking pan ((13'' by 9''))!. You can slide the pizza right onto the baking sheet and put it on top of the stove to cut and eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well if the crust is crispy it shouldnt like turn to mush

but i would slide a cookie sheet that didnt have a lip underneath it or you could use a big spatula and get it onto a plate nearbyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Don't!. If it is fresh homemade pizza cuz it will fall thu the cracks!. Only do that with frozen store bought pizza or one that has been pre-cooked so that it is firm!. then just slide i out using one of the ideas above!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I WOULD ADVISE USING A COOKIE SHEET AND MAYBE LEAVING IT IN THE OVEN FOR A LITTLE LONGER THE DIRECTIONS USUALLY TELL YOU HOW YOU CAN MAKE IT A CRISPIER CRUST!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i dont think thats a good idea!. for one it will most likely stick!. it might also slowly fall through the rack!. stuff could also fall off the pizza!. it wont be fun to clean up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to scoop it up like your cooking bacon or eggs on the stovetop!. Try a metal spachel or something like a cake knife wide and metalic !.!.!.!.!.maybe even the pizza tray!.

Good luck dont burn the house down!.

carefully remove entire oven rack (it will be extremely hot) and slide pizza onto cutting board!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could put a platter at the front of the rack, and pull it out onto the platter when it's cooked (using oven mitts)Www@FoodAQ@Com

pull out the rack (using oven mits of course) and slide two spatulas on either side of the pizza to lift it up!. Work quickly and be careful!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put a sheet of tin foil underneath it , it will keep it crispy and you still can take it out with hand mitts!.

This will also avoid cheese spilling over into the ovenWww@FoodAQ@Com
