Pulled Pork

Brine:
8 ounces or 3/4 cup molasses
12 ounces pickling salt
2 quarts bottled water
6 to 8 pound Boston butt
Rub:
1 teaspoon whole cumin seed
1 teaspoon whole fennel seed
1 teaspoon whole coriander
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon paprika
Combine molasses, pickling salt, and water in 6 quart Lexan!. Add Boston butt making sure it is completely submerged in brine, cover, and let sit in refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours!. 12 hours is ideal!.
Place cumin seed, fennel seed, and coriander in food grinder and grind fine!. Transfer to a small mixing bowl and stir in chili powder, onion powder, and paprika!.
Remove Boston butt from brine and pat dry!. Sift the rub evenly over the shoulder and then pat onto the meat making sure as much of the rub as possible adheres!. More rub will adhere to the meat if you are wearing latex gloves during the application!.
Preheat smoker to 210 degrees F!. Place butt in smoker and cook for 10 to12 hours, maintaining a temperature of 210 degrees F!. Begin checking meat for doneness after 10 hours of cooking time!. Use fork to check for doneness!. Meat is done when it falls apart easily when pulling with a fork!. Once done, remove from pot and set aside to rest for at least 1 hour!. Pull meat apart with 2 forks and serve as sandwich with coleslaw and dressing as desired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
2 green bell pepper, seeded and cubed
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, finely diced
2 tablespoons minced garlic
DIRECTIONS
Put the chicken in the slow cooker!. Top with the spaghetti sauce, green bell peppers, mushrooms, onion, and garlic!.

I like throwing in some bell peppers, red onion, garlic, and pasta sauce, preferably home made, and spices!.
Then throw in some chicken breast, and cook accordingly for chicken cooking time in the crock pot you have!.
When you are about to eat, cook up your favourite pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over, the chicken will be so tender and tasty from being in the crock pot with the sauce, yum!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Our favorite is whole chicken cooked in the crock pot!. Then I take it out and shread all the meat off the bones, make some mashed potatoes and gravy and serve it with a veggie-usually green beans or broccoli!. The best part is, we only use 1/2 of the chicken and so then I can freeze the other 1/2 and use it later for something like homemade chicken soup or barbeque chicken sandwiches!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I love anything with pork done in the slow cooker!. Plop a loin right in with whatever liquid!.!.!.I think my husband mixes apple juice or water, barbeque sauce and a little bit of liquid smoke in!.!.!.and cook it for five to eight hours (depending on the heat setting and how big the loin is)!. And the pork just falls apart!. It is perfect for pulled pork sandwiches!.
I also like to cook a loin in the slow cooker with a mess of sauerkraut!. mmmm!.!.!.!. Then all you need is to make some mashed potatoes and a veggie(I prefer peas with this meal), and you've got an amazing dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pot Roast!.!. Its so delicious!! Def my favorite meal, mom always made it on Sundays growing up!. Its pretty simple, all it is, is 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, a packet of Lipton onion soup mix, and a rump roast!. Let it cook all day on low and than serve the leftover gravy over mashed potatoes!. YumYum !

My mom used to make this on days you just need to put osmehting otgether and dont have much time!. I made it for my boyfriend and when he saw me do it he was like UMM OK!?! but when it was done HE LOVED IT!.
so you put 3 or 4 chicken breasts and a jar of salsa however hot you want it and eventually the chicken will break apart and mix with the veggies in the salsa and pick up the spice!. at the end i add green beans cuz its really good but you can do anything you want with it!.
its pretty versatile!.

Corned beef brisket!. Just made it this weekend!. Put the brisket (and seasoning packet) in the crock, 2 quartered potatoes, 1 quartered red onion, some bay leaves, a lot of minced garlic, 1 lite beer and about 4-6 cups of water!. Cook on high all day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
