We usually make a strawberry pretzel jello, it is great for summer cookouts!.
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
4 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
3/4 cup butter/marg!. melted
1 cup white sugar
2 8oz packages cream cheese
1 8oz container cool whip, thawed
1 6oz package strawberry flavored jello
2 cups boiling water
1 16oz package frozen strawberries or can use fresh
Preheat oven 350!. Mix together pretzels, 4 1/2 tablespoons sugar and melted butter!. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 pan!. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted!. Set aside to cool completely!.
In a medium bowl, beat the sugar and cream cheese until smooth!. Fold in cool whip!. Spread evenly over the cooled crust!. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes!.
In a medium bowl, stir together the jello and boiling water!. Mix in frozen strawberries, and stir until thawed!. Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan!. Refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hr!.
I would recommend that if you use fresh strawberries you make the jello the regular way it says on the box!. Because the frozen strawberries substitutes the cold water which you will not have if you use fresh!. also, when spreading the cream cheese mixture over the pretzels make sure that it is completely covering to where the mixture touches the sides or the jello will run through!. Enjoy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cracked a tooth on a blackberry!? I guess they do have hardish centers!. !. !. ouch!.
What about a cobbler!? They tend to be fairly simple--just berries and a little sugar, lemon juice, whatever, covered with pie crust and cooked until soft (safe for your teeth!) and sweet (just brush them afterwards ;)!. You get more fruit than in a pie, with less crust, and it's great with ice cream!. You can even leave off the crust if you like, and have a berry compote sort of thing!.
Fresh berries are so wonderful, and the season is so short, it seems a shame to do too much to them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
