Answers:
Sounds like a 7 layer dip without all the layers:

Taco meat (hamburger with taco seasoning)
Sour Cream
Salsa
Topped with Cheese

Layer in that orderWww@FoodAQ@Com

Never heard of putting taco meat at the bottom, but hey, why not!? Just brown a pound, season w/ taco seasoning, and top the guacamole w/ the meat, then continue th esteps!. Call it "Eight-Layer" dip!

Seven Layer Fiesta Dip

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp!. taco seasoning mix
1 cup prepared guacamole
1 cup salsa
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
? cup chopped green onions
1 (2-oz) can sliced black olives

Mix cream cheese and seasoning mix!. Spread on bottom of 9 inch pie plate or quiche dish!. Layer guacamole, salsa, lettuce, cheese, onions and olives over cream cheese mixture!. Serve immediately w/ sturdy corn chips!. Refrigerate any remaining dip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's my recipe, which is (a) yummy, and (b) can please vegetarians too! If you want to add hamburger, just add it on top of the cream cheese layer, and season with the other 1/2 of the seasoning packet!.

8oz cream cheese, softened
1/3c sour cream
1/2 Taco seasoning packet
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
Shredded lettuce
Sliced olives
Diced tomatoes or fresh salsa
Scallions, sliced

1!. Combine the cream cheese and sour cream!. Add a little more sour cream if needed to get a thick, but scoopable consistency!. Add about 1/2 packet of the taco seasoning and combine!. Taste!. Adjust amount of seasoning!. Spread the mixture on a serving plate (about 14"), pie plate, or an 8"x8" glass baking dish!. (I've done this on a cake platter too and it looks nice)

2!. Layer cheese, lettuce, olives, tomatoes and scallions!.

3!. Serve w/tortilla chips (Tostitos Scoops work well)Www@FoodAQ@Com

What I do is layer refried beans, then a mixture of cream cheese, sourcream and taco seasoning layer, salsa, lettuce, cheese, tomato, green onion and black olives!. I have never put meat into it, but I am sure it would taste great with a ground beef layer :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
