Answers:
The best way I can think of is to keep it Debbie Meyer green bag!. If you can't get any, seal it in a plastic bag or tightly covered bowl with paper towels, to absorb the moisture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would make sure all my greens were dry and there were no wet vegetables in the salad if you're saving it!. Cut veggies can be stored in their own containers and the salad greens can go in a zip lock bag!. There's really no way to keep greens fresh and unwilted if you add wet or weepy vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always wrap my lettuce leave in a damp paper towel!. That helps keep them fresh!.!.!.!.or lay a damp paperp towl on top of them!.

The 'rusty' problem comes from cutting the lettuce with a stainless steel knife!. If you use a ceramic knife, you don't get that problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make sure everything is dry!. And whatever you do, don't slice the tomatoes until the salad is ready to serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

keep it in the fridge but before you do, wash it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

make sure its air tight and everything is really dry!. tomatoes would not be goodWww@FoodAQ@Com
