I finally tried sushi, and love it, i would like to have a sushi japanese evening with friends any suggestions!
i have bought from lakeland a sushi making kit that i have tried out and it helps to make the sushi wrapped in sea weed in cube shapes
but if i was to have some friends over for the evening how could i do snacks and maybe a dessert or starter and accompaniment for the evening

oh, the ofresh fish i have been brave enough to try from my local fish counter is tuna and salmon, but i dont really know of others to try

Have you tried crab, halibut, squid, just vegetables!. If you have people whom don't like sushi, try to get them to taste something easy like a vegetable roll or a California roll!.
For starters: avocado salad with miso dressing!.!.!.is delicious you can probably find a recipe online!. Japanese starters are usually salads, or something really light!. !.!.
Dessert- Green tea cookies or ice cream!. Daifuku Cakes are nice too!.
To go with the sushi: Yakisoba, Shrimp or veggie Tempura, Beef of Chicken Teriyaki
If that's not enough!.!.Take a look at a local Japanese Restaurant menu!.!.!.they should have some great ideas!.

Yellowtail is good but may be kinda hard to find, and so is fluke!.
