BUSY DAY PEACH COBBLER

Peach pie filling is topped with a cobbler topping in this easy dessert!.




Preparation time: 15 min Baking time: 40 min
Yield: 8 servings


Filling Ingredients:

2 (21-ounce) cans peach pie filling*
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Cobbler Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup cold LAND O LAKES? Butter
3 tablespoons milk
1 egg, slightly beaten


Topping Ingredients:

3 tablespoons sugar


Heat oven to 400°F!. Stir together pie filling and nutmeg in large bowl until well mixed!. Pour into 13x9-inch ungreased baking pan!.

Stir together flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl!. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs!. Stir in milk and egg with fork just until moistened!. Spoon mixture over filling in pan; sprinkle with 3 tablespoons sugar!.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around edges!. Serve warm with half & half or ice cream, if desired!.

*Substitute 2 (21-ounce) cans your favorite fruit pie filling!.

VARIATIONS:

Crunch Peach Cobbler: Prepare filling and cobbler as directed above!. Stir 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts into 3 tablespoons sugar!. Sprinkle mixture over cobbler!. Bake as directed above!.

Homestyle Peach Cobbler: Prepare filling and cobbler as directed above, substituting 3 tablespoons brown sugar for sugar and stir in 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon!. Bake as directed aboveWww@FoodAQ@Com

2 Large fresh peaches, sliced and peeled
1 1/2 cups Sugar, divided
1/2 cup Butter, melted
1 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 dash Nutmeg
3/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 375F!.

Mix peach slices with 3/4 cup of sugar and set aside!.

Pour the butter in an 8 inch square baking dish!.

In a small bowl mix, flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and remaining sugar!. Stir in milk slowly until just combined!. Pour the mixture over the butter in your dish!. Top the mixture with the peaches!.

Bake at 375F for 45 minutes!.

INGREDIENTS:
1 stick (4 ounces) butter, melted
1 cup plus 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 to 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
PREPARATION:
Heat oven to 375°!.
Pour melted butter into a 2-quart baking dish (11x7 or 8-inch square)!. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of the sugar, the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir to blend!. Stir in the milk and vanilla until blended!. Pour the batter over the melted butter!. Toss the peaches with the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon!. Arrange the peach slices over the batter!. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean!. The top will be browned and the cake will begin to pull away from the sides of the pan!. Serve warm with a little heavy cream, whipped topping, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!.

4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
2 cups sugar, divided
1/2 cup water
8 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups milk
Ground cinnamon, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.

Combine the peaches, 1 cup sugar, and water in a saucepan and mix well!. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes!. Remove from the heat!.

Put the butter in a 3-quart baking dish and place in oven to melt!.

Mix remaining 1 cup sugar, flour, and milk slowly to prevent clumping!. Pour mixture over melted butter!. Do not stir!. Spoon fruit on top, gently pouring in syrup!. Sprinkle top with ground cinnamon, if using!. Batter will rise to top during baking!. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes!.

That is easy!. In a round or square baking, I like to use a 1/6 liter corning dish that is about 4 inches deep, dish put in the peach pie filling then dump half the of yellow cake mix on top (if you have two cans/jars pie filling, use the whole box of cake mix!. You usually use white cake mix but yellow is fine!. Dot the top of the cake mix with butter!. bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes!. This is great served with some ice cream on top!. This recipe is called lazy cobbler!. How simple, huh!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 cup flour
2 tbsp melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Beat all together until creamy
Pour into buttered dish
Pour canned fruit (juice and all) on top

I don't think you use yellow cake mix in a peach cobbler!. if i told you the reciepe, then I would have to come over and eat it all!.!.!.(in other words I don't have a clue, never made one!.!.!.)
