Hi there, here's your greek Biftekia recipe,(beefburgers)
fresh beef mince, minced or finelly chopped onion, salt , black pepper, finelly chopped Mint, finelly chopped continental parsley, Greek origano! alittle olive oil, and mix all very well, by the way if you were making rissoles or meat loaf with this mix you would also add 1 or 2 whole eggs and bread crumbs or soaked and sgueezed stale bread before you mix it all together, this is by the way an authentic Greek recipeWww@FoodAQ@Com

This is one of my favorite hamburgers!. I like to put some feta cheese on the patty a minute or so before I take them off the grill!. I suggest topping these great burgers off with thin slices of tomato, cucumbers and white onions!.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound ground lamb
1 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
1 tablespoon mint
1 tablespoon onion minced
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 hamburger buns, hard rolls or pitas
sliced cucumbers
sliced tomatoes
ranch salad dressing
Preparation:
Mix ground lamb, mustard, lemon, onion, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper!. Form into patties!. Grill until no longer pink!. Serve on buns with cucumbers, tomatoes and ranch dressing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Another method: divide your ground meat (your choice) into eight rather thin patties!. Put 1 teaspoon(approx) feta cheese in center of four of the patties!.Add a teaspoon of finely chopped onion and finely chopped garlic on top of the feta!. Cover each pattie with the remaining patties!. Seal edges!. Cook as normal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Greek Burger

For The Patties:
1lb/500g ground mutton or lamb(if you don't have beef will do)
(how to grind your own meat)
1/2 handful black olives finely chopped
1/2 handful crumbled feta cheese
2 pinches dried oregano
a little pepper, fresh ground black is better
a little salt
1 hand fresh bread crumbs
1 egg lightly beaten
1 quarter mutton or beef stock block dissolved in a quarter cup water

For the Rolls:
4 rolls
sliced tomato
thinly sliced onion
a few thin slices of cucumber
1/2 cup 50/50 mixture of mayonnaise and natural unsweetened yoghurt to which 1 crushed clove of garlic is added

Mix all the patty ingredients thoroughly, leaving the salt for after the patties are cooked if you prefer!.
Make sure the mixture is cool!. Divide mixture into 4 equal balls and mold into patties!.

Cook on medium heat under the grill, on the barbecue or in a pan (how to regulate cooking temperature) until the patty is cooked to your preferred degree of doneness or the internal temp reaches 160F/70C

Split the rolls and toast the cut surfaces lightly (under grill, on barbecue or in pan) just before the patties are done!. Spread the mayonnaise/yoghurt/garlic mixture liberally on the bottom halves of the rolls, add a few slices of cucumber, the patties and the other halves of the rolls!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
