Recipe for a veggie pizza appetizer and anything else good for a bridal shower?!
I was at a bridal shower a year ago and they served like a bunch of finger foods- one was individually cut veggie pizza- it was cute and good!. I am basically wondering what they used for the "crust" - it wasn't pizza crust or anything, almost like it was kind of cracker like!. also any other good idea for some finger foods!? I plan on throwing the shower around 11 a!.m!. or so!.!.!.!. I was not wanting to do a whole lunch or anything- this will be in my home!. Any help and ideas are welcome! Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

First of all the crust for that veggie pizza is a simple crescent roll dough (as the others have already said)!. Some other good ideas are Spinach Dip with veggies-the recipe is on the Knorr Vegetable Mix!. I serve mine in a bread bowl and have cracker sticks with it too!. Cheese & crackers is also a hit!.!.!.also if your bakery sells tiny cresent rolls (or freezer section) you can add chicken or tuna salad to them to make sandwiches!. A fruit salad or fruit with a dip (Cool Whip and Marshmallow fluff) are a nice addition to a shower!. Have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com
my veggie pizza uses rolled out crescent dough and then plain creme cheese mixed with dried ranch dressing and topped with tons of veggies!. Cook the dough than put the toppings on it, don't cook!. I've seen it done also with french bread and triscuits!. If you are looking for a healthy route, how about making some kebabs!? they are great finger foods!. Put various fruit on small skewers and then serve with a fruit dip ( i mix fluff in a can with creme cheese and its really really good)!. also, do small skewers of chicken, beef, and shrimps!. Marinade in teriyake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
if you have a sma's club nearby, in their freezer section, they have a lot of finger foods to choose from!. It comes in handy, some you will have to cook and some you can just let come to room temp!. Quick and easy!. Quiche (sam's has these) plus a lot of other choices!. Depending on how many guests your having, this is the place to go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My "veggie pizza appetizers" are made on a crescent roll dough!. Just unroll it from the can and press the perforations!. I bake it and let it cool, then spread on an herbed cream cheese, sprinkle chopped raw veggies and shredded cheddar cheese!.
I'm guessing this could be different from what you encountered!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've seen them done on Ritz crackers and Melba rounds; larger ones are on English muffins!. But, they can be a little messy for finger foods:) !.!.!.!.!. Since you're starting the shower at 11 am, you are going to be running through, and beyond, the lunch hour!. Your guests will be STARVING! You might want to have some trays of tea sandwiches, or mini-croissant sandwiches !.!.!. fruit salad or fruit kebobs !.!.!. veggies & dip !.!.!.!. devilled eggs !.!.!. cheese balls & hummus dip!.!.!.!.!.!.trays of cookies, petit fours, brownies, cream puffs !.!.!.!.!.If you really don't want to have "lunch" food, you should think about starting the shower at 1 pm, or later!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
