How to keep lasagna warm for 2 hours unattended?!
We are doing a diy wedding reception for my sister on Friday and I am making lasagna!. No one will be at the reception site during the wedding (it's about 20 minutes away) and I don't know whether I should bake it and then immediately keep it in the oven there at a low heat until the reception!? There will be about 1!.5 to 2 hours in between my being able to attend to it!. I don't want to dry it out, and I'm hoping that if it goes into the oven already warm it won't have to really reheat!.
We are going to use chafers for serving, but I know those aren't going to do much!.
I was originally going to bake in the morning and refrigerate, but then I know I will have to reheat almost as long as the cooking time!.
Thanks for any advice!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might want to get a few of those insulated fabric pan carriers (fit 9x13" pans)!. You can wrap the cooked lasagna in foil, and zip them into the insulated fabric carriers!. They'll stay hot for hours (and they're easier to transport)!.!.!.!.!.!.You should be able to find them on eBay, or any kitchen storeWww@FoodAQ@Com
I think covering it tightly with foil and leaving it in a low oven is the way to go!. It will dry out less than it would have if you had cooled then reheated it!. It should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
chafing dish!. use a pan of warm water under the lasagna pan to create a steam table effect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
+put it on a very low heat and leave it in the ovenWww@FoodAQ@Com
