Take your favorite cheesecake recipe that calls for regular cream cheese, substitute with half fat-free cream cheese and half light cream cheese!. It works great and tastes decadent!.

A good alternative if you are looking for cream cheese as a flavoring agent or as a topping it is something call Yogurt Cheese!. Yogurt cheese is really not your true cheese!. It is made from regular yogurt but it simply the Yogurt with the water weight part of the yogurt drained away!.
Using a simple bowl and a double layer of coffee filters, (this is just regular coffee filter, two of them stuck together)!. Put the filters inside a sieve!.
(Another version that you can use instead of a coffee filter is a cheese cloth if you have a cheese cloth!.)
This method can be used for up to 2 cups of regular yogurt!. Choosing a non-fat variety will reduce the fat!.
Add the yogurt to the 2 coffee filters (nestled together)!.
Put in the refrigerator!. After it sits for about 8 hours overnight in the refrigerator, the liquid will have drained away and what remains is the sticky part of the yogurt in the coffee filter and take a knife or spoon and scrape that away from the edges of the sieve and put it in a plastic container!.
