Question: Is there another good way to make sirloin steak besides grilling!?
Answers:
In a pan!.
Heat a pan with oil!. Season steak with s & p and brown it on the first side!. Flip it over and place the pan into a 400F oven until the steak is done as you like!. It will oly take a couple of minutes!. You can also add things to the pan like a sprig of rosemary, a clove of garlic, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, spinach, mushrooms, green onions or anything else you like either for flavour or any veggie that will cook quickly!. When the steak comes out of the oven, let a knob of butter melt on top while you let the steak rest for 10 minutes!. It will be delicious and quick!
Hope this helps!

A marinade isn't necessary for a piece of meat that tender but you could marinade it for flavour for a short time!. Oil herbs and garlic is simple and delicious!. Avoid acids when marinading tender cuts unless you marinate for only a very short time or the meat will break down and become mushy!.

All the best!Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, 1 to 1 1/4-inches thick
2 teaspoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven on broiler setting!. Make foil 'snake' out of aluminum foil to use to keep oven door slightly ajar so that broiler won't turn off if it gets too hot!. Brush steak with oil and salt and pepper, to taste!. Place a piece of foil on the bottom rack as a drip pan!. Place another rack in the position above this and put the steak directly on this rack!. Cook steak in this position for 5 minutes!. Flip steak and cook for another 5 minutes!. Move rack with steak to top position in oven, moving rack with foil and drippings just underneath, and cook for 3 minutes!. Flip 1 last time and cook for another 3 minutes!. Transfer steak to wire rack and rest for 3 to 5 minutes!. The above times are for medium doneness!. Adjust cooking times up or down as desired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yep- a perfect steak needs searing and "sitting"!.!. try this recipe for the perfect indoor steak:

1 1-2 inch prime steak- sirlon, new york strip, rib eye!.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3/4 teaspoon kosher salt, divided

Freshly ground pepper

Fifteen minutes before cooking, remove steak from refrigerator and unwrap!. Preheat oven to 500 degrees!. Ten minutes later, set a cast-iron skillet over high heat and preheat about 5 minutes, or until a drop of water evaporates on impact!.

When ready to cook, rub steak with vegetable oil and sprinkle one side with half of the salt and pepper!. Carefully lay steak in the hot pan, salt-side down, and cook!. There will be considerable spitting and sputtering, so if you have a splatter guard, you may wish to set it over the pan!.

While one side is cooking, sprinkle the other side with the remaining salt and pepper!. After 1 minute, flip the steak with a sturdy pair of tongs!. Transfer the pan to the oven!. Cook 2 minutes, then flip again and cook 2 minutes more!.

After four minutes, transfer the cooked steak to a plate and cover loosely with foil!. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing or serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
