2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup SPLENDA Sugar Blend for Baking
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate morsels


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F!.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl!. Set aside!.

Beat butter, SPLENDA(R) Sugar Blend for Baking, brown sugar, and vanilla at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended!. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition!. Scrape sides of bowl!. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until blended!. Stir in chocolate morsels!.

Spoon rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets!.

Bake cookies 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned!. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not a recipe, but if you want something you can claim is home made, just try one of those Betty Crocker dry cookie mixes!. You just add butter and an egg and it's ready to bake!. The peanut butter and the sugar cookie mix are both very good!. The chocolate chip is not that good!. The mixes are generally under $2!.00 which is probably pretty cheap considering you don't have to drag out all the ingredients and mix them all up!.

Cream Cheese Drop Cookies

1 cup butter
2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup toasted coconut*
Cream together the butter, cream cheese, sugar, salt, and vanilla!. Add egg and milk; beat well!. Stir in the flour and toasted coconut!. Drop cookie batter from teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet then press a pecan half or cherry half into the top of each!.Bake at 325° for 18 to 20 minutes!. Remove cookies to a rack to cool!.Makes about 5 dozen cream cheese cookies!.

To toast coconut in the oven, spread coconut on a baking sheet in a single layer!. Bake at 325°, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 10 minutes!.

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
Yield: 6 Dozen

Ingredients

1 c sugar
1 c butter; or margarine, softnd
1 pk 3-oz!. cream cheese; softened
1/2 ts salt
1/2 ts almond extract
1/2 ts vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 c flour
3 tb colored sugar; if desired

Instructions

In lg!. bowl, combine sugar, butter, cream cheese, salt, almond
extract, vanilla, and egg yolk; blend well!. Stir in flour until well
blended!. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 2 hrs!. for easier
handling!.
Heat oven to 375~!. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/3
at a time to 1/8" thickness!. (Keep remaining dough refrigerated)!.
Cut into desired shapes with lightly floured 2!.1/2" cookie cutters!.
Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheets!. Leave cookies plain or, if desired, sprinkle with colored sugar!. Bake at 375~ for 7 to 10 mins!. or until light golden brown!. Immediately remove cookie sheets; cool completely!. If desired, frost and decorate plain cookies!.

Philadelphia Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies:
8 oz!. cream cheese, softened
2 sticks butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp!. vanilla
2 cups flour

Beat cream cheese, butter, 2/3 cup sugar, and vanilla on medium speed until well blended!. Mix in flour!. Refrigerate several hours or overnight!. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness on lightly floured surface!. Cut into desired shapes!. You can sprinkle them with colored sugar if desired!. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned!. Cool on wire racksWww@FoodAQ@Com

These are simple cookies and contain no egg in the mixture!. They turn out crispy and thin!.


Ingredients
1 1/2 cups quick rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
1/2 tsp!. salt
2 Tbs!. boiling water
1/2 tsp!. baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Sugar for tops of cookies

Directions
Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, butter and salt into large mixing bow!. Blend until butter is thoroughly worked into mixture!.

Stir together water and baking soda!. Stir soda mixture into oat mixture!. Add nuts, if used, blending well!.

Shape into balls the size of walnuts!. Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in water, then dipped into sugar!.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes until golden and crispy!. Cool on racks!.

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Hardware:
Ice cream scooper (#20 disher, to be exact)
Parchment paper

Mixer

Heat oven to 375 degrees F!.
Melt the butter in a heavy-bottom medium saucepan over low heat!. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda and set aside!.
Pour the melted butter in the mixer's work bowl!. Add the sugar and brown sugar!. Cream the butter and sugars on medium speed!. Add the egg, yolk, 2 tablespoons milk and vanilla extract and mix until well combined!. Slowly incorporate the flour mixture until thoroughly combined!. Stir in the chocolate chips!.
Chill the dough, then scoop onto parchment-lined baking sheets, 6 cookies per sheet!. Bake for 14 minutes or until golden brown, checking the cookies after 5 minutes!. Rotate the baking sheet for even browning!. Cool completely and store in an airtight container!.

Slowly add the flour mixture, scraping the sides of the bowl until thoroughly combined!. Stir in the chocolate chips!. Scoop onto parchment-lined baking sheets, 6 cookies per sheet!. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, checking the cookies after 5 minutes!. Rotate the baking sheet for more even browning!.
Remove the cookies from the pans immediately!. Once cooled, store in an airtight container!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I hope you don't consider cake mix a random ingredient!. This is a really easy recipe!. You can use whatever cake mix you have on hand!.

1 pkg!. cake mix
2 eggs
1 stick of butter

Mix all ingredients, drop onto cookie sheet and bake for 8 mins at 350o!. My kids and hubby love 'em!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
