When I take frozen vegetables out of the freezer, such as peas, I place them in a small cup and put hot tap water over them so that they start to defrost!. By the time it comes to boiling or steaming them, it takes just a few minutes with none of that ice slowing down the cooking time!.
As for roasting, I have never done this before, but once defrosted, I would add a little olive oil over them and place in the hot oven!. Would probably only do this if I were using the oven for something else, such as roast potatoes!. Otherwise, your selection of vegetables sound as though they could be stir-fried!.
There are no rules, only practice!. Good luck and enjoy your meal!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Frozen vegetables are all slightly cooked anyways, and you would definitely not want to overcook them! !.!.!.!.Alot of them are actually fine simply defrosted & drained! (especially green beans, asparagus & peas)!.!.!.!.otherwise, I put them into a pyrex, covered bowl, and microwave about 3 min!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
