Hey there, so I need half a pound of chicken breast for my chicken noodle soup, how many chicken breasts would this be!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Chicken breast come in different sizes!. Some 4 oz--so 2 would be half pound!. if it is 6 oz--then 1 and 1/4!. if 8 oz--then that is half pound!Www@FoodAQ@Com

They normally weigh 3 to 6 oz for boneless and 4 to 8 oz for bone-in!. So, anywhere from 1 to 3 would equal half a pound, depending on what size you get and whether it's bone-in or boneless!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends how big the breasts are!. If you're just making soup then you don't need to be exact on the weight of the chicken, just eyeball it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

normally skinless average weight is between 160-175gms each!.
1 lrg for 2 people will make a tasty soup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends, boneless-skinless or bone in!? It also depends on the size!. The last ones I got that were bone in, were enormous!

Boneless-skinless I'd say 2!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends how big they are, look on the packaging!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would use a couple, or 4 thighs!. Thigh meat is cheaper and has more taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Probably 2, give or take a couple of ounces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
