I don't think I've ever used a recipe for fruit salad!. I go to the market and get a good range of fresh fruit!.
A couple of different kinds of melon!. Seedless grapes, bananas (ripe but hard ones, not with brown spots), any kinds of berries, oranges, apples, pineapple, mango, kiwi etc etc!. No limit to the imagination!. And whatever is in season will have the most flavour!. You want a variety of colours in there!. Toss your cut apples in a bit of lemon juice though so they don't go brown- rather unsightly!
If you're looking for different presentation ideas, serve it in a hollowed out half watermelon, and/or use a melon baller to carve out your melons!.
Great topping is just plain whipped cream or whipped cream with a bit of granulated sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

that is really good combo!! Add some mini marshmallows, coconut, and sprinkle the whole thing with dry jello before stashing in the fridge overnight!!

I happen to like pineapple, orange wedges, apples, the melons, grapes (both green and red) the strawberries, and maybe so add some raspberries to this!. All nicely bitesized! pour enough coconut over this to coat the fruit well!. Refrigerate!.

morning pour 1/3 cup undiluted orange juice concentrate, 2/3 cup brandy, and 1 cup cream together!. Stir well!. add a package of mini marshmallows to the fruit, then pour this sauce over it!. Cover tightly til you get to the luncheon!.

Toss the fruit one last time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not all the fruit is fresh but this will be an instant hit at your reunion!.

Fruit Salad

1 can fruit cocktail ( do not drain)
1 can pineapple tidbits ( do not drain)
1 can sliced peaches ( do not drain )
1 bag frozen strawberries ( thawed and sliced )
3 Kiwi fruit ( sliced thinly}
seedless grapes
bananas
mangoes
Papaya
Any other fruit of choice however, blueberries bled and make the salad dark blue!.!. not a good idea!.

1 box lemon jello ( the dry mix only )
1 box instant vanilla pudding ( dry mix only )

Mix all the canned and fresh fruits in a large bowl that has a lid!. Stir in the lemon jello powder and instant vanilla pudding powder!.

I usually do not add the bananas until close to time to serve so they will not discolor however, the lemon jello helps them stay fresh looking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can also add peaches, plums, blueberries, etc!. There are NO toppings for fruit salad!.

The ONLY thing I would definitely do is sprinkle some lemon juice on the salad when you're done making it, then mix it and sprinkle some more!. This will keep the fruit from turning brown!. You will NOT taste the lemon, trust me!!! You just don't want to serve brown fruit salad and the lemon will keep that from happening!

I would do everything you have:
Watermelon
Canteloupe
Strawberries
Blueberries
Grapes red and/or green
Peaches regular and white
plums
pineapple

That should do it! I hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com
