If I add half and half to a bottled pesto sauce while heating ti will it make it a pesto cream?!

it'll taste ok!.!.!.it won't be as rich as building a sauce and using heavy cream!.!.!.try warming it in the microwave first so the two things you are mixing are closer to the same temp!.!.!.this should help it come together a little better!.!.it will be better for you at least!.!.!.should be about 1/2 the fat as using the heavy cream!.!.!. by the way the half and half works in things such as sweet potato pie, just add about a teaspoon of butter per each cup of half and half you use!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
make a roux= equal parts butter melt and whisk in an equal part flour and cook 2 minutes to get out flour taste

add the cream slowly till you have the consistancy you want and cook on a lower heat till the sauce slightly simmers!. also add some parmesan cheese to balance out the flavor of the cream!. Mix it with a thin pasta like angel hair or thin spaghettiWww@FoodAQ@Com
