Will I still be able to finish the recipe?!
I'm making molasses cookies, but I ran out of molasses! Should I substitute balsamic vinegar!? Would I have to reduce it first!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
You can't interchange vinegar and molasses! Yuk! Use brown sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
To be quite honest, it wont be the same if you substitute something else!. You're better off adjusting the recipe (ex: you only have 1/2 the molasses, so cut the rest of the ingredients by half) or going to the store and getting molasses!.
