Oooh, homemade hamburger helper!. I add taco seasoning and a can of fire roasted green chiles to the meat, drain the meat and add to the mac and cheese!. The only side I ever have with it is a mixed green salad with feta, pecans, and a vinaigrette!. It's a cool side to balance the heat of the pasta!. Yes, I go heavy on the taco seasoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make my own hamburger helper!. For my family of 5 these are the measurements I use!.

2 boxes kraft dinner
1lb hamburger
1 can cream of mushroom soup
seasoning salt to taste

Brown your hamburger with some onion!. Drain!. Cook macaroni according to directions!. Mix in cheese according to driections!. Then add in hamburger, mushroom soup, and seasoning salt!.

My family has always loved Homade Beefaroni

Just add 1 lb browned ground beef to your already made 2 boxes of mac-n-cheese, then add a can of corn, and a 1 cup of ready made spaghetti sauce and heat through!. I usually serve it with garlic bread and a salad!. If you don't have the sauce, you can use an 8 oz jar of tomato sauce, 1 tsp of Italian Seasoning and garlic to taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!. Cook your hamburger meat!.
2!. Add 1 package taco seasoning (and the water it tells you to add)!.
3!. Add to Mac-n-Cheese
4!. (Optional) Add any or all of the following: diced tomatoes, chopped green pepper, minced onion, minced fresh garlic!.

HAMBURGER MAC & CHEESE

1 lb!. ground round
1 med!. pkg!. elbow macaroni
3/4 lb!. Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 c!. milk
1/2 c!. sour cream
1 tbsp!. garlic powder
1 tsp!. salt
Pepper to taste

Brown meat in skillet, while boiling macaroni until tender, drain both!. Add hamburger to macaroni, mix in large stove top Dutch oven!. Add all other ingredients, mix gently, and simmer over low temperature until cheese is completely melted!. Serve right from stove top!. Serve with salad and French bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know it sounds weird, but it's good!. You can add canned corn to it!.
I make something similar with ground hamburger meat, can of spaghetti o's, corn and can cream of mush soup!. Sounds weird but it makes a good casserole!.

Try mixing a little cinnamon in with it !.!.it gives it a good flavor!. If you use bacon make sure its hickory or maple and cook it well done and crush them!. Top it of with a mixture of extra sharp cheddar and muenster cheese !.!.A good side with it is grilled corn on the cob!. If you don't want to grill it put butter, garlic salt, and pepper on the corn wrap it in aluminum foil and bake it at 400 it taste soooooo good!.!.one of my sons favorite meals!.

Some fresh oregano and basil; with a little garlic salt would be fine!. Obviously, you don't need any more starch/carbs (like corn, bread, potatoes), since you already have pasta!.!.!.!. so a big green salad with balsamic vignarette dressing, and a citrus fruit salad would be nice (and lighten up the meal a little)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add some bacon, finely diced tomatoes!. Nuke them first!.

As for sides- Go green, salad, green beans, asparagus!.

Corn on the cob!.

Some cornbread!
