Break eggs into a wide, shallow bowl or pie plate; beat lightly with a fork!. Stir in sugar, salt, and milk!.
Over medium-low heat, heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of butter or margarine!.

Place the bread slices, one at a time, into the bowl or plate, letting slices soak up egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn to coat the other side!.

Soak/coat only as many slices as you will be cooking at one time!.
Transfer bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until bottom is golden brown!. Turn and brown the other side!. Serve French toast hot with butter and syrup!.

OK,

Combine several eggs with a little milk, for more egg taste reduce milk, for less egg taste or to reduce cholesterol add more milk!. You can stretch an egg quite a ways with this recipe if you want or need to!. You may also use any egg substitute!. Add a teaspoon of vanilla and mix!. Preheat griddle to 325-350 degrees!. Add oil to the griddle, we use peanut oil but any veg oil will work, EVO and butter will burn at this temperatures!. Dip the bread, honey wheat will be just fine, in the mixture and coat both sides!. Now drop on the griddle and sprinkle cinnamon lightly on top!. Do not use sugar it will burn!. Brown lightly on each side and serve with fruit or syrup, we use pure maple syrup at our table!.

I make Baked French Toast!. I got the recipe from a blog I read!. It is so good and it uses honey!. It is supposed to be soaked overnight, but I suppose you don't have to do that part if you don't want to wait!. I guess it would taste good with honey over the top if you don't have syrup, though I have never tried it!.

Baked French Toast

INGREDIENTS

- 10 slices of Bread

- 1 1/2 cups whole milk

- 4 omega 3 eggs

- 1/3 cup pure honey

- 1 teaspoon real vanilla

- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

HOW TO MAKE IT:

1!. Grease a 9 x 13 pan with some real butter and set to the side!.

2!. Mix all ingredients together, except for the bread!.

3!. Lay out 5 slices of bread in the greased pan!. You may need to tear one of the slices in half to make them fit!.

4!. Pour one-half of the liquid mixture on top of the bread!.

5!. Put the other 5 slices of bread on top of the other bread, and pour the rest of the liquid batter on top of that!.

6!. Put plastic wrap over the baking pan, and put it into the fridge, and let the liquid batter soak into the bread over night!.

7!. The next morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees, then remove the plastic wrap from the pan, and bake for 40 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The way that we make french toast is similar to one of the other responses!. I get a bowl beat however many eggs you want and the put some milk into the bowl with the eggs per how many you put into the bowl!. Then you turn your stove on to a lite setting let it heat up some!. Then you get some bread of your choice and then dip the bread into the bowl!. You then put a little bit of butter on the pan and put the bread on the pan and then let it toast some!. After all said and done then put some syrup and then your ready to eat!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
