Good for you! Writing it down will make it so you can make that recipe years after you first created it!
I seldom write my recipes down and cook a lot of things just by adding this and that to the pot - It doesn't make for repeats, easily! One of the things I always do (including now!) is watch the food network!.!.!.!. It has opened my eyes to cooking and trying ingredients I would never have tried otherwise!. Now I roast my own cloves of garlic, I freeze my saran wrap (so you can unroll it easily), I freeze nuts, and bread crumbs to keep them fresh!. There are so many tips you learn, and don't even realize it until you start writing them down, like I am! If you don't have the foodnetwork, try looking online, they post all recipes on their site! Good luck to you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

BBQ baked beans !. !. !.
Make the BBQ sauce from scratch because all the bottle stuff is
high fructose corn syrup with flavorings !.
Use black beans and onions !.
And some bacon for special occasions !
Given the price spike in rice , flour ( pasta ) and corn ,
The beans would be a fabulous $$$$ saver too !.
{ and probably healthier }
