What to do with spaghetti sauce that is not the usual spaghetti?!


Question: What to do with spaghetti sauce that is not the usual spaghetti!?
Lasagna is too labor intensive right now and i don't want to do a chicken parmasaen(sp!?!!?!!?!!?) dish!. I do have a lot of chicken though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

chicken cacittorri, chicken, mushrooms, onion, peppers (red and green), lrg can of tomatoes in puree, boil the chicken, remove, put all the ingredients into the same pot, ( don't disgard all the chicken broth) leave half in the pot, break up the chicken, if there are bones,disgard,add salt pepper, oregano, parsley, parmisian and reggiano cheese, leave to simmer for approx, half hour to 45min, serve over pasta!. easy!. if you want it a little thicker, add 1 can of paste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

CHICKEN CACCIATORE BAKE

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into one-inch pieces
Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
2/3 cup diced yellow onion
2/3 cup diced green bell pepper
1 small can whole black olives, cut in half
1 (24 ounce) jar of pasta sauce (I recommend Newman’s Own Cabernet Marinara)

Beat egg and stir in 1/4 cup milk!. Dip chunks of chicken in egg mixture and then into bread crumbs, coating well!. Brown in a little oil until golden!. (Chicken does not have to be completely cooked here, will complete in oven!.) Place chicken in baking dish!. Saute onions and bell pepper for 2 minutes then add mushrooms and saute 2 minutes more!. Add onions, bell pepper and mushrooms to baking dish!. Add black olives!. Pour pasta sauce over all!.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly!. Serve with bowtie pasta!.

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves 1 pound
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 28 ounce jar meatless spaghetti sauce
3 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup red wine or chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried basil
hot cooked angel hair pasta or spaghetti

Instructions
In a nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, cook chicken for 6 minutes on each side; remove and keep warm!. Add mushrooms, garlic, basil and Italian seasoning to skillet; saute until mushrooms are tender!. Stir in spaghetti sauce and wine or broth!. Add chicken; cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until heated through!. Serve over pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know where you are but here in Florida at publix they have a sun dried tomato Alfredo sauce that I mix juleanne style sun dried tomato's and a goat cheese in and poor it over pasta!. Taste's great, requires very, very little work!. It is delicious!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i have also used other noodles, like elbow, egg, ziti and just cooked as directed mixed with sauce and cover with cheese and bake till cheese is good and melted!. You can add ground beef or chicken to this as well!.

super easy ziti pasta
use any kind of cooked pasta and mix with
1 part spaghetti sauce and 1 part riccota cheese
stir in cooked chicken chunks and put it in a pan top with cheese and bake at 350 for about ten minutes or until warm and melty SO YUMMY!Www@FoodAQ@Com
