This is the most requested item that I make, usually at Christmas!.

CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES

2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1/4 cup margarine, softened
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoons almond extract
2 (8 ounce) jars maraschino cherries with stems, well drained
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening

In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, margarine, milk and almond extract; mix well!. Knead into a large ball!. Roll into 1 inch balls and flatten each into a 2 inch circle!. Wrap around cherries and lightly roll in hands!. Place with stems up on a waxed paper lined baking sheet!. Cover loosely and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight!. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave!. Holding onto stem, dip cherries into chocolate; set on waxed paper to harden!. Store in a covered container!. Refrigerate 1-2 weeks before serving!.

Pasta Carbonara - never dissapoints

1 pound linguine or spaghetti
10 strips bacon, diced
6 egg yolks
2 cup grated Parmesan or I sometimes use creamed mascarpone cheese
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped

Cook the pasta according to the package directions!.

Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat!. Transfer to a paper towel and reserve the drippings!.

In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks!. Still whisking constantly, add the reserved drippings!. Working quickly, add the drained pasta and Parmesan to the yolk mixture and toss to combine!. Add the salt, pepper, parsley, and bacon!. Serve immediately!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

3 meat 7 cheese lasagna!

Everyone loves this and still talk about when they had some!. One lady recently that I had not seem in 9 years commented that she still craves my lasagna and wont eat anyone else's!
