Welch's Grape juice wine is what my parents make - Oh!. My!. God!. It is *so* good!. (doesn't pack a punch like my Zada's home brew OMG - I do not know how he makes his, I know he uses fresh grapes he grows, knock you right on your butt)
They take their ingredients (water, sugar, grape juice & yeast) put it in a gallon pitcher!. Set it in the basement, with a balloon on top!. I was told "The balloon should blow up, and then back down" and I forgot how many times they let the balloon do that - I am thinking 2/3 times!. I am thinking it takes 1-2 months for the process to be complete!. Please don't quote me on this though, they made it & I never have!. (now ask about home brew Kahlua - I'm your gal!)
