Question: Making homemade ice cream and need help knowing when it is ready!?
we have it in the maker but it says to let it go for 20-40 minutes which is a big time gap how do i know when it is ready!? also it says to freeze after so does that mean it should be a little bit watery when i take it out of the machine!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It shouldn't be watery, it will be like soft serve ice cream you get from dairy queen!. You will hear the machine start to work harder, just keep checking it with a spoon, it will hold it's shape when you take a spoonful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

with ice cream makers it comes out more of a milk shake than ice cream, which is why you freeze it, and with large time gaps just go for the maximum amount of time and it should work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
