Baking chicken for the first time.?!


Question: Baking chicken for the first time!.!?
I'm attempting to bake chicken drums and thyes for the first time,I have an idea of how to bake it but every time I cook something for the first time it doesn't turn out like I planned!.I have dried bread crumbs to work with!.Any good ideas to make a great tasting baked chicken recipe!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here are tow great ideas!.

with bread crumbs:
roll the chicken in eggs with some seasoning mix in then dip them into the bread crumbs!. Lay them in a baking dish with enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan!. B
ake at 350 for an hour

or

brush mayonnaise onto the chicken then use old potato chips that have been crushed in the bag!. put the chicken in the bag and shake like shake n bake!. Bake at 350 for an hour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

OVEN BAKED FOUR STAR CHICKEN

1/3 c!. Parmesan cheese
1/3 c!. bread crumbs
1 tbsp!. parsley
Pepper to taste

Heat oven to 375 degrees!. Spray non-stick spray on cookie sheet!. Rinse chicken well, roll in mixture put on cookie sheet!. Then spray all chicken once more with non-stick spray before cooking (lightly)!. Bake for 45 minutes!. Great recipe for drumettes!




CRISPY DRUMSTICKS

1/4 c!. fine, dry bread crumbs
1/8 tsp!. garlic powder
1/8 tsp!. onion powder
1/8 tsp!. dried whole marjoram
1/8 tsp!. dried whole thyme
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1 tbsp!. skim milk
8 chicken drumsticks, skinned (about 1 1/2 lb!.)
Vegetable cooking spray

Combine first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish; stir well!. Combine egg white and milk in a small bowl!. Dip each drumstick in milk mixture; dredge in bread crumb mixture!.
Place drumsticks in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray!. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done!. Yield: 4 servings (196 calories per serving)!. Protein 28!.7; fat 5!.8; carbohydrate 5!.0; cholesterol 89; iron 1!.4; sodium 151; calcium 26!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

roll the chicken in some flour seasoned with salt and pepper, then dip in a mixture of egg lightly beaten with some milk, then dip again in breadcrumbs mixed with your favorite herbs - I suggest oregano!.
If possible put in fridge for 20 mins, before baking in preheated moderate oven in a lightly oiled pan or pan lined with non-stick baking paper for at least 30 mins!. sticks a knife or metal skewer into the thickest part of the chicken - if the juice is red or pink, it needs more cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put on a tray which is covered with baking paper!. Heat an oven to about 180 Deg!.C!. Coat the chicken drums or thighs lightly with olive oil sprinkle with Maggi chicken stock powder and brush all over Sprinkle with breadcrumbs if you like, put in oven for about 35 minutes!. prick with knife or skewer and check juices run clear from the thickest parts!. Cook longer if needed maybe another 10 minutes!.

either soak the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours OR dip them in egg first, then breadcrumbs!.
