How many cups would 4 ounces of butter be?!

Question: How many cups would 4 ounces of butter be!?
Answers:
Its about 1/2 cup!. Just remember this only works for some stuff like butter and water!. Every ingredient has a different density!. For example, a cup of lead pellets and a cup of feathers both occupy 8 ounces of volume!. However, neither one will weigh 8 ounces (a cup of butter will weigh approximately 8 ounces)!.

The idiots who invented the English system gave the same unit name to both volume and weight!. Trying to convert weight ounces to fl!. oz would be the same as trying to convert inches to pounds or trying to covert hours into cups!.

Weight will also vary with temperature!. A pint of water will vary in weight depending on the temperature of the water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Butter comes in a one pound box!.
A pound is 16 ounces!.
Each stick of butter is 4 ounces!.
A stick of butter is also approx!. 1/2 cup!.

Hope this helps! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
